Don is a Managing Director at Montera, helping manage firm operations and investment activities. In addition, Don works closely with platform executives and management team to help drive operating execution at the platform level. 

 

He is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience spanning finance, operations, real estate, banking, and law. Prior to Joining Montera, Don was the private equity COO at Bellview Capital, a middle-market industrials sponsor. Don also worked at Wells Fargo where he led a team responsible for the underwriting, structure and management of $3 billion of transactions to national and regional real estate clients. Building on that foundation, Don served as the CFO for a real estate firm developing over 4,000 units, and went on to found an award-winning developer generating $15 million in annual lot sales.

Don earned a BA in Finance from the University of Illinois and a J.D. in Law from Boston University.
